One side depicts an atmospheric grove of flamingos in rich coral-red tones, while the reverse features bold tropical foliage and exotic flowers in softer greens and earth tones. Architectural lower panels and faux-marble detailing give the screen an especially sophisticated, almost theatrical quality. Both functional and sculptural, it is a wonderful example of early-20th-century decorative art with a distinctly Florida and tropical-modern spirit. See less
