Each medallion is outlined in taupe and beige, with a dark serrated inner surround enclosing a pale cruciform device accented by hooked motifs. The repeated forms touch at their pointed ends, creating a continuous vertical chain that emphasizes the extraordinary length of the piece. Narrow geometric end borders display a scrolling angular pattern in brown and ivory, providing an architectural finish.
