This mid-20th-century Turkish Anatolian runner presents a disciplined procession of large diamond medallions arranged along a soft salmon and warm beige field. Each medallion is built from intricate angular hooks and interlocking geometric elements in muted ivory, taupe, brown, and charcoal, with a small cruciform device at its center. Compact hourglass-like motifs appear between the principal forms, reinforcing the steady vertical rhythm. A narrow inner guard of repeating stepped squares frames the field, while the broad outer border carries alternating angular motifs resembling stylized hourglasses, stars, and tribal emblems. The restrained earth-toned palette lends the runner a quiet, architectural character, while the precise repetition reflects the strong geometric vocabulary of Anatolian village weaving. Its elongated proportions make it especially suitable for a hallway, gallery, corridor, or alongside a long console, where the medallion sequence can introduce structure, texture, and understated decorative continuity with distinction.
