This mid-20th-century Turkish Anatolian runner presents a lively vertical sequence of geometric medallions framed by broad patterned borders. The central field alternates coral, rose, ochre, tan, and pale grey compartments, each containing compact angular devices, stepped diamonds, or stylized floral forms. Small motifs repeat along the axis, creating a steady rhythm from end to end, while the surrounding borders display interlocking zigzags, hooks, and triangular elements in ivory, brown, pink, and golden yellow. Narrow grey guard stripes sharpen the structure and emphasize the runner’s elongated proportions. The warm, varied palette gives the composition a cheerful decorative character, while the simplified geometry reflects the expressive vocabulary of Anatolian village weaving. Well suited to a hallway, gallery, bedside passage, or narrow entry, this runner brings color, movement, and architectural definition to both traditional and contemporary interiors. Its balanced scale allows the intricate pattern to remain approachable.
