An imposing french chandelier from the 1940s, crafted from turned and carved wood and fully lacquered in black. Its structure is organized around a solid central shaft, from which eight arms radiate. Each element features a geometric pattern carved in diamond points, giving the piece a pronounced relief and a highly graphic presence. The eight candle-shaped sockets reinforce its traditional look, while the glossy black finish lends it a more theatrical and contemporary aesthetic. This model is loosely inspired by rustic french and neo-renaissance chandeliers, reimagined in the decorative spirit of the 1940s. A piece with character, ideal above a large dining table, in an entryway, or in a living room with brutalist, spanish, or modernized french influences. The lacquer finish has just been redone. Because of the difference between european and american electrical systems, light bulbs not included. L92 p 92 h 38.
