The forty-five-degree angled uprights are adorned with leafy carvings, imparting a classic elegance to the piece. The base showcases a serpentine front with a pair of doors simulating three drawers, while an additional drawer is located in the band beneath the top. The central drop-front door conceals an internal writing compartment, composed of four drawers and an open shelf, embellished with maple inlays. The scroll feet and moldings, originally ebonized, complete the refined design. The interiors are made of poplar, maintaining the authenticity of the materials.
