Brass frame with a cylindrical stem, circular base, and white fabric shade. Made in Sweden, 1960s.
Elegant lines and balanced proportions define this Swedish-made floor lamp from the 1960s. The cylindrical stem extends from a low-profile circular base, while the white fabric shade diffuses a soft, even light, enhancing the clean lines of the overall design. The design approach reflects the principles of Scandinavian design of the period, focused on functionality, quality materials, and a reduction in decorative elements. The base bears the original label certifying compliance with the Swedish safety standards of the time, a testament to its intended use for the domestic market. The current shade has been replaced, respecting the proportions and aesthetic language of the original model, preserving its visual balance.
Good condition. May show signs of aging. Please refer to the photographs carefully.
