Tall oak body with coffered sides, fluted corner mouldings, a centre panel with frame mouldings, and two large, lockable rectangular doors in frame construction with curved panels, hinged on external brass fittings. The top is finished with a projecting, moulded cornice. Inside, the wardrobe is fitted with two drawers, a clothes rail and a shelf made of pine.

In good, ready-to-use condition with slight age-related signs of wear and minor visible repairs. The wood has been stripped of its dark surface finish, sanded and bleached, revealing the texture of the oak in a light colour without any sealant.

The wardrobe can be dismantled into several parts for transport (2 side panels, 2 doors, 2 back panels, 2 front crossbars, cornice and multi-part interior fittings) and reassembled using wooden mortise and tenon joints, small metal wedge joints, wooden dowels and 2 screws. See less
