The image likely represents Mary Magdalene, a figure often depicted by Van Dyck with her gaze turned to the sky and her hair loose. In this painting, the face appears mirrored compared to the original. The work has undergone microscopic scientific analyses conducted on the pigments and wooden support, dating it to the late 18th century (report attached). The expressive intensity and the skillful use of chromatic and luministic effects recall Van Dyck's typical style, suggesting it was created by one of his followers. The work is presented in a frame dating from the late 19th - early 20th century. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
