This mid-20th-century Turkish Anatolian runner presents an elongated sequence of geometric medallions arranged across a warm apricot and ochre field. Stepped diamonds, clustered lozenges, triangular devices, and compact floral forms appear in softly muted tones of ivory, pale yellow, dusty rose, salmon, tan, and brown. The principal motifs alternate in scale, creating a measured vertical rhythm through the narrow composition, while smaller diamonds and abstract ornaments fill the spaces between them. Multiple narrow borders frame the field with repeating triangles, small squares, and linear geometric accents, reinforcing the runner’s architectural structure. The warm, sun-washed palette gives the piece a gentle decorative presence, while the simplified drawing reflects the expressive character of Anatolian village weaving. Its elongated proportions make it especially suitable for a hallway, gallery, bedroom passage, or alongside a long console, where the repeating motifs can introduce pattern and rhythm with understated warmth.
