"Dance of the Jellyfish" is a Raku ceramic work born from a reflection on the fluid movement of life and matter. The composition is inspired by the marine world and the vitality of jellyfish, translated into stylized, light, ever-changing forms.
The work blends graphic rigor and material unpredictability: the design is carefully traced and glazed with a brush, but it is the lively reaction of the Raku—with its crackle, fumes, and reduction—that generates the final energy of the work. Vibrant, irregular, and chromatically dynamic surfaces emerge, conveying the sense of a visual dance in which light, form, and sign intertwine.
"Dance of the Jellyfish" narrates the encounter between control and transformation, between planning and instinct. Every detail, from the golden lines to the chromatic tension, contributes to an abstract and contemplative narrative that explores the fragility and strength of becoming.
