The vase has … Read more A large vintage royal delft trumpet vase by de porceleyne fles, hand-painted in a rich cobalt-blue palette. The vase has an elegant flared form with a faceted body, vertical ribbing and a broad trumpet-shaped rim, giving it a strong decorative presence. The decoration is particularly expressive, with deep blue floral panels, stylised blossoms and ornamental borders painted across the full height of the vase. The darker, more saturated delft blue makes this piece stand out from many lighter royal delft decorative vases.

the base is marked with the royal delft factory mark, year code cw for 1977, and the painter’s initials of w.g. Andringa, who worked for de porceleyne fles from 1963 to 2012. The vase is in very good vintage condition, with fine overall glaze crackle consistent with age. This piece has an attribution mark,
