This mid-20th-century Turkish Anatolian long runner presents a refined allover composition of tightly repeated oval and lozenge motifs. A soft sage-green field is patterned with delicate coral-pink outlines, creating a continuous lattice that extends evenly from end to end. The compact scale of the ornament produces a subtle visual vibration, while the generous plain coral border provides a strong architectural frame and emphasizes the runner’s exceptional length. Limited to a restrained pairing of cool green and warm salmon tones, the design feels both traditional and remarkably modern. Its disciplined repetition reflects the geometric vocabulary of Anatolian weaving, while slight variations in spacing reveal the character of handmade production. Exceptionally elongated and narrow, this runner is particularly well suited to a grand hallway, gallery, corridor, or other extended passage, where its quiet pattern and balanced color can establish rhythm, continuity, and understated decorative presence throughout.
