This mid-20th-century Turkish Anatolian long runner presents a refined, highly disciplined composition in soft ivory, beige, and muted taupe. A narrow central panel contains a continuous procession of twelve geometric medallions, each built around a small diamond and surrounded by branching, hooked extensions resembling stylized antlers or ram’s horns. The repeated motifs create a steady vertical cadence suited to the rug’s exceptionally elongated proportions. Broad side panels are articulated by angular, stepped outlines that form a sequence of large bracketed compartments, lightly accented with tiny diamonds and delicate abstract ornaments. Fine linear guards frame the composition and reinforce its architectural clarity. The restrained palette allows the precise drawing to take precedence, giving the runner a calm, almost minimalist character while remaining rooted in Anatolian village weaving traditions. Its graceful proportions make it especially appropriate for a long hallway, gallery, or formal interior passage of distinction.
