A mid-century folding tray table — brass top, mahogany spider legs with brass feet, designed to collapse flat for storage or hang on a wall as a decorative piece.
The brass tray is etched with the happiness character (福) at center, encircled by dragon, spotted deer, leopard cat, pheasant, and songbird among peonies and flowering branches — each a traditional emblem of fortune, longevity, and prosperity. The scalloped edge is crisp. The legs are natural mahogany, polished with furniture wax, they are not lacquered.
30 inches diameter. 18 inches high. Folds flat. Made in Hong Kong, mid-century.

It does not affect appearance. Original rubber leg pads show age-related shrinkage so small felt pads were added where legs meet the tray for level, stable support. less
