This mid-20th-century Turkish Anatolian runner features five large, vertically aligned octagonal medallions set against a softly muted terracotta field. Each medallion is built around a salmon-pink square containing a small diamond motif, framed by broad sage-green compartments with stepped and angular projections. Pale olive, beige, dusty rose, and subdued grey-green accents create a restrained, earthy palette throughout the design. Narrow geometric bands separate the medallions, establishing a steady architectural rhythm along the elongated format. The repeating forms combine bold scale with simple village geometry, giving the runner a distinctly modern appearance while remaining rooted in Anatolian weaving traditions. Its long, narrow proportions make it especially suitable for a hallway, gallery, bedroom passage, or alongside a console, where the sequence of medallions can guide the eye and introduce quiet pattern, color, and structure without overwhelming the surrounding interior, with understated decorative presence and visual continuity.
