This mid-20th-century Turkish Anatolian runner presents a refined allover design composed of tightly repeated oval and lozenge motifs. A soft coral-red ground is overlaid with delicate pale turquoise lines, creating a compact lattice that gives the field a subtle sense of movement and texture. The small-scale pattern continues evenly from end to end, while a broad plain coral border frames the composition and strengthens its clean, architectural character. The limited two-color palette lends the runner an unexpectedly modern appearance, yet the rhythmic geometry remains rooted in Anatolian weaving traditions. Its narrow proportions make it especially suitable for a hallway, gallery, bedside passage, or alongside a console, where the continuous pattern can introduce color and visual interest without dominating the surrounding furnishings. The balance of warm coral and cool turquoise allows it to complement both traditional and contemporary interiors with ease and understated, distinctive elegance.
