Finished in a soft creamy … Read more Beautiful large-scale handmade Italian ceramic planter featuring an elegant raised fruit-and-leaf garland encircling the exterior. Finished in a soft creamy white glaze with warm golden-yellow accents along the substantial rolled rim, the planter has a wonderfully traditional Mediterranean and Tuscan character. The dimensional decoration is particularly attractive, with individually modeled fruits and foliage finished in earthy shades of amber, rust, burgundy and muted green-gray. The underside bears an impressed “Fatto a Mano / Hand Made in Italy” maker’s mark along with impressed production/model numbers, confirming its Italian handmade origin. Two drainage holes are incorporated into the base for functional use with plants. A substantial decorative piece at approximately 19 inches wide, this planter works beautifully indoors or outdoors and would be equally attractive planted with orchids, herbs, succulents or seasonal flowers. It could also be displayed empty as an Italian decorative object or centerpiece. See less
