The top is a single floating piece of black granite with a beveled edge. There are two central drawer, one with a silverware cloth and divider inside, and two spacious cabinets, one two each side of the drawers. This piece has a lower shelf for additional open space storage or display. This piece is in very good condition with the possibility of a minor scuff or two to the cherry finish.
