A beautiful set of three carved stone Hippos from Zimbabwe, each rendered in a different colorful variegated stone, the largest one in a soft brown with flecks of lighter shades, signed on the lower back by the artist, "Masaka"; the second largest in a trim-color stone with grey, amber and flecks of blue-grey, signed by Edmore Chijumani. The smallest Hippo is in a bluish-grey with brown striations. A charming little group.
