The stripes radiate from the base in a classic cane/filigrana-inspired technique and continue up the body to the smoothly flared rim. The glass has excellent clarity and a glossy finish that highlights the depth of color and the precision of the hand-blown work.

Signed on the underside and retains the original “VeArt – Hand Crafted – Made in Italy” label on the interior rim.

VeArt was founded in Venice in 1965 by Ludovico Diaz de Santillana and Sergio Billiotti. The company produced high-quality artistic blown glass through the 1980s and early 1990s, collaborating with notable designers including Toni Zuccheri, Umberto Riva, Tobia Scarpa, and Mario Ticco. The brand was later absorbed by Artemide. Pieces from this period are prized for their modern forms, rich color, and traditional Murano craftsmanship.
