The rectangular bodies with canted corners are entirely decorated with geometric marquetry in rosewood and light wood, forming cross and Greek key patterns across all surfaces. The corners are finished with fluted pilasters. The white marble top, veined with pink and beige, has cut edges and is framed by a gilt brass gallery. The whole rests on four square, fluted, tapered legs ending in brass sabots. Each table has two drawers in the front, fitted with bronze ring handles. The 'Gouffé' signature plaque is affixed inside one drawer.

Workshop report: localized wear and chipping of the wood on the interior structure of one drawer, requiring minor restoration. Otherwise, the set is in good condition.
