Elegant bedside table with three drawers and raised edges on three sides of the top.
The tall, slender base features four cabriole legs ending in scrolls, in the Louis XV style.
It has three small storage drawers with gilt metal knob handles. The drawer fronts are gently curved to follow the shape of the piece.
The top is made entirely of walnut, with raised edges on the sides and back.
Discreet carved wood ornaments adorn the drawer fronts, the lower frieze, and the cabriole legs, including acanthus leaves and a shell motif.
Traditionally handcrafted in the 1960s in a village in the Aveyron region of southern France.
Interior drawer dimensions: 30 cm wide, 28 cm deep, 6.5 cm high.
