We are selling this interesting American still life painting. This still life has central bouquet of Black Eyed Susans in a glass vase in front of a murky brown and gray background. The background is very reminiscent of Eakins and his followers at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. The Academy board has old F Weber & Co. Philadelphia Label. The painting is probably circa 1900-1910 and housed in a later frame.
Condition: Some warping to the academy board. Frame is later.
