Antique Country French secretary desk with marquetry detail. Dating from the early 1800's in the Louis XV or French Country style. Tooled leather writing surface. Marquetry medallion and book rest on slant front lid. Hidden sliding storage compartment on interior surface. Warm glow to its finish and patina. Beautiful and detailed cast brass pulls. All functions work as intended, desk is sturdy and could be enjoyed in every day use.
