A signed French Art Deco pendant light, circa 1930. The nickel-plated bronze or solid brass fixture holds a beautiful, clear frosted pressed glass shade by Degué. It bears the signature of Degué, the renowned glassworks company founded by David Guéron that produced exceptional Art Deco lamp shades from 1926 to 1936. This piece is in excellent condition. I restored the original mount with fresh nickel plating and a custom patina. The shade measures 13.7 inches (34.8 cm) in diameter, and the chandelier has a total height of 15.55 inches (39.5 cm). It comes equipped with three American candelabra-base sockets. Please feel free to reach out if you would like longer rods to increase the overall height.
