Degué
A beautiful French 1925-1935 nickel on solid brass art deco lamp. A nicely shaped art deco base holds a shade by Degué the famous glass company from Paris directed by David Guéron with its factories in Compiègne. Degue started the firm in 1926 and production stopped in ´36. It finally closed down in 1939.
The lamp and its shade are in excellent condition. It is 39 cm high (15,35"). I have replated and patinated the base. And the lamp comes rewired with new twisted rayon covered cord, new plug and switch. I placed an American candelabra base socket and 2-prong plug.
