This striking signed studio art pottery platter was hand-thrown and high-fired in the United States, likely during the 1980s-1990s. Finished with a luminous blue, aqua, sage green and violet glaze, the surface develops organic crystalline effects and flowing color transitions unique to reduction-fired studio ceramics. Its contemporary artisan aesthetic complements Coastal, Organic Modern, Scandinavian, Wabi-Sabi and Modern Farmhouse interiors while functioning beautifully as wall art, a centerpiece or serving platter.
