A mid-century pair of Danish style Ronson Rosewood Varaflame Candlesticks, made in 1964 with heavy iron weighted bases which exhibit … Read more A mid-century pair of Danish style Ronson Rosewood Varaflame Candlesticks, made in 1964 with heavy iron weighted bases which exhibit some corrosion and a chrome stem holding highly-figured sleek sculptural rosewood stems with chrome tops. The inner tubes take butane lighter fluid, the flame being adjusted by turning the tops of the candlesticks. When the dots are aligned (see photo) the candle is turned off. Original labels under both sticks. They have not been tested. One stick appears to be slightly bent but could be corrected. A beautiful pair of rare mid-century design. See less
