Crafted in France circa 1880, the oil on canvas is signed lower right by Gaston Boucher and depicts a lush arrangement of chrysanthemums and garden flowers displayed in a hand-painted faience vase resting upon a tabletop. Executed in a rich naturalistic palette, the composition combines delicate pink and white blossoms with vibrant crimson flowers and golden sprays set against a softly illuminated background, creating remarkable depth and atmosphere.
