This is a rare, authentic limited-edition serigraph of "La Traviata" by the legendary father of Art Deco, Erté (Romain de Tirtoff, 1892–1990). Originally designed as a theatrical costume concept for Giuseppe Verdi's celebrated opera, this 1982 release perfectly encapsulates the artist's signature romance, fluid geometry, and opulent dramatic flair.Details & ProvenanceThe artwork features a statuesque figure clad in a magnificent, voluminous white ballgown adorned with cascading pink roses, framed symmetrically by monumental twisted columns that double as burning candles. This piece is hand-signed by Erté in pencil in the lower right margin and clearly displays its limited-edition series number in the lower left margin.Framing & PresentationThe serigraph is elegantly presented in a heavy, museum-quality vintage wood frame featuring an elaborate gold-gilded finish and scrolling corner flourishes. Professionally matted under protective glass, this iconic masterpiece serves as an immediate, ready-to-hang focal point for a luxury living room, formal dining space, or gallery wall. See less
