An extraordinary and museum-quality Art Nouveau vase by Johann Loetz Witwe, the legendary Bohemian glassworks whose iridescent creations stand among the finest achievements in decorative arts history. Dating to circa 1900–1905, this exceptional signed example showcases the celebrated Phänomen technique at its most refined — a rare and highly collectible masterpiece from the golden age of Jugendstil glass.
Hand-blown in an elegant baluster form, the vase features a gently swelling body rising from a circular foot into a beautifully waisted neck with softly flared rim. The entire surface is adorned with intricately pulled and combed metallic trails, forming a striking feather-like motif of remarkable symmetry and precision — a signature characteristic of Loetz’s iconic Phänomen décor.
