Published in January 1898 (Issue #26) by Imprimerie Chaix, this vibrant print is a highly coveted addition to any serious Art Nouveau or vintage poster collection.

It was created by renowned Les Nabis group artist Henri-Gabriel Ibels (1867–1936). Plate 102 was originally commissioned as an advertising poster for the famous Paris print dealer, Pierrefort. Rather than focusing on elite, symbolist imagery, Ibels captures the pulsing energy of the Parisian streets and bohemian entertainment. The artwork features a stunning, whimsical pantomime scene filled with delicately drawn figures including a colorful harlequin, a singer, and traditional clowns.
