It is an abstract figurative work with compartmentalized shapes, stone counter lines in an earthy vibrant coloration.
Stain glass like mosaic aesthetics with black outlines segmenting the composition into fractured areas.
Cubist and expressionist influences.

Adler was an accomplished classical violinist and a Professor of Art at NYU. His art is held in highly prestigious permanent collections including the Smithsonian American Art Museum and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
