We are selling this interesting Mid-Century WWII era Solomon Island paddle. This carved hardwood paddle has carved decoration on the head with incised mother of pearl stars. The piece is probably early to mid 20th century and has painted information as to where it was purchased, Tulagi, and When, 15 March 1944. Most likely purchased or traded for by a WWII GI and later decorated.
Condition: Good condition. Damage to tip and other light wear.
