FRANCIS HUBENS
A nickel-plated bronze or solid brass 1925-35 French art deco ceiling fixture with a Hubens bowl made by Degué in frosted molded-pressed glass. Francis Hubens was a Paris based lighting manufacturer (located 68 rue des Archives). Hubens used mainly shades made by Degue but also some Muller models were used for the bronze mounts. The bowl is signed Hubens as well as a Degué France mark on the rim.
The pendant is 42.5 cm (16,73") high and the bowl has a diameter of 35 cm (13,78"). The chandelier is in very good condition. I have re-nickeled and patinated the mount. It is rewired with a standard US socket.
