A beautifully sculptural Danish modern design that showcases Hundevad's refined sense of proportion and construction. Executed in solid teak, the table features four elegantly tapered legs connected by a striking cross-braced framework with finely turned stretchers. The intersecting supports create an architectural composition while providing exceptional stability and highlighting the craftsmanship of the piece. The loose circular glass top appears to float above the sculptural base, allowing the elegant construction to remain fully visible from every angle. Carefully executed joinery and exposed brass screws add subtle decorative details while reflecting the honest craftsmanship characteristic of Danish furniture from the period. Presented in very good condition, with a warm teak patina and beautifully preserved wood grain.
