The artist combines in the same landscape view the entrance of a villa (which he painted in other works, titled 'Villa Cappello in Noventa Padovana') and a caravan: this element was also frequently depicted by him due to his interest in gypsy life. The artist from Ancona, who lived for a long time in Venice, is known for his ability to explore various subjects.
