This unique piece is a 'Woo Creature' from the Monster Series by Richard Marshall (1944 - 2006). These Woo Creatures, according to lore, are believed to bring peace and good fortune to those fortunate enough to catch one.
It is a large round ceramic dragon wall plaque with turquoise glaze reflector, votive candle cup, dragon head crest, glazed horns and eyes, six teeth, with horns on both sides of candle cup, texturized skin, one tooth has tiny chip at point; signed and dated by artist; otherwise in excellent condition.
