A vintage German porcelain child's bowl featuring a colorful transferware image of three girls playing with a goat, surrounded by the alphabet.
The transfer is detailed and colorful. The ridged sides have gilt lines. The foot is unglazed.
A red stamped mark on the base reads “Made In Germany”. It has a stamped production number of 61.
MEASUREMENTS
7 ¾ in (19.7 cm) diameter x 1 ½ in (3.8 cm) deep. Weighs 1 lb. 10.3 oz.
CONDITION
There are no breaks, cracks, chips, or repairs. There is light to moderate wear to the letters and numbers on the rim, as well as light wear to the gilding on the ridges. There is also few wear marks to the transfer in the well. The middle girl has a small scratch in her hair.
