  • "Phoebe P.: They emailed me yesterday and said that the print was torn in many places and could not be saved. However, I think I can pull your phone number off the UPS label. I am going to call you."

  • "Hi, I have been told by Chairish that the print was being sent back to you. Have you received it yet, and is it suitable to send to me? Looking forward to hearing from you! Best, Phoebe"

    Oct. 28, 2016, 10:28 a.m.

  • "You are so kind and I am very grateful for your consideration! I am crossing my fingers that the print of the 4 women makes it back to me:) I'm sure you have lovely things in your "stash" and anything you choose to be fun with the 4 women print would be fabulous. The print you call beach postcards might be a place to start as inspiration as something to send. I look forward to hearing from you! Best, Phoebe"

  • "Phoebe P.: I know I said I would send some complimentary prints but I wanted to see if this one was usable first. Regardless I am going to send some but if you were still going to use this one I was going to send some that could match. As I said before, if there are any listed on chairish that you like let me know. I have a bunch that aren't listed but if you see any that catch your eye let me know."

  • "Phoebe P.: Chairish emailed me yesterday regarding the piece. They said that it was in route to their office because that is the address that the put on their UPS labels. I asked them to open the box once received and if the print is in any way salvageable to please mail it to you and that I would pay for the shipping. I will keep in them se we get an answer as soon as it is received to the office."

  • "Hi, I thought I would check in and see if you have received the returned broken picture. If so, I would be pleased to hear. Thank you, Phoebe"

    Oct. 21, 2016, 11:49 a.m.

  • "Phoebe P.: oh bummer. It's because chairish arranged the shipping so they are the ones to file a claim. When it comes back to me if the print is salvageable I'll send it right back to you."

    Oct. 13, 2016, 5:59 p.m.

  • "Hi, I have heard from Chairish, and as per their request I am sending the entire piece back. If there is a way for me to repurchase the matted print without glass or frame, I would be interested. Thank you! Phoebe Brooke (Chairish Support Desk) Oct 13, 2:03 PM PDT Hi Phoebe, Thanks for the photos and sorry for the damage in shipping. We have gone ahead and filed a claim with UPS. Can you pack this up in its original box and leave outside for a UPS driver?"

    Oct. 13, 2016, 3:54 p.m.

  • "We are thinking alike!"

    Oct. 12, 2016, 6:38 p.m.

  • "Again, thank you ! I will follow up tomorrow. Depending on how things work out with the reimbursement, and the print is salvageable, perhaps the money recouped will cover the cost of having the piece reframed. Thanks, Phoebe"

    Oct. 12, 2016, 6:37 p.m.

  • "Phoebe P.: If you can salvage this print great, but just go ahead and get your full order amount back from chairish and use that to buy frames for this one (if useable) and the ones I'm going to send you."

    Oct. 12, 2016, 6:35 p.m.

  • "Phoebe P.: Well if you see another one listed that would work in its place I can send it to you as a complimentary gift. It will just ship unframed to save me shipping costs and to avoid this from happening again. If you are on a budget a great option if to just buy an inexpensive framed piece of art from a thrift store and reuse the frame as they can be pricey if purchased new depending on where you buy."

  • "That is very kind of you. I can tell you are conscientious and disappointed. This print was going is a bedroom with red toile and blue accents. The house is near the water on Martha's Vineyard. The graphics, sophisticated but playful subject, and the fullness of the image are delightful. If there is any way to salvage the print, and I can be reimbursed for the cost of framing the print, I would like that solution. Thank you, Phoebe"

  • "We are saving all of the packaging. I am sending photos to Charish as you suggest. Honestly, the whole thing will have to be taken outside tomorrow to take another look at it. When it was opened in the house the shattered glass fell all over the place and the clean up was very involved. I'm not sure of the condition of the print... too hard to see underneath the broken glass. Thanks, Phoebe"

  • "Phoebe P.: I will put together a surprise package for you that will go out tomorrow. Are there any prints I currently have listed that would work for your space as a plan b? I just got a bunch of new ones, but haven't had time to list them. The beach themed ones are really cute. Where were you going to put the print? Office? Hallway? Bathroom? What other colors are you working with?"

    Oct. 12, 2016, 6:14 p.m.

  • "Phoebe P.: If possible, please save all packaging at least for a week or so. Sometimes fedex fights so hard on paying out on damaged items that they might send out someone to review the packaging in person (SO crazy). Were you at least able to get the print out of the frame so you can reframe it yourself?"

    Oct. 12, 2016, 6:07 p.m.

  • "Thank you, I too am disappointed. I will contact Charish. Thank you, Phoebe"

    Oct. 12, 2016, 6:06 p.m.

  • "Phoebe P.: OMG I am so sorry and so sad. That print was my very favorite out of all I have ever sold. I know that it was wrapped and packaged carefully. Please email support@chairish.com and explain what happened and attach photos of the item and any/all packaging. They will reimburse you as I do not collect any payment until well after you receive your item so they still have your money. They will forward the photos to me and then I will have to deal with FEDEX."

  • "Hi, I received this item, Order #159897, today and it is completely broken, a total loss. I can send you pictures. How do I get full reimbursement? Thank you, Phoebe Pardo"
