Arranged in a traditional configuration, the case holds two half-width frieze drawers directly above three graduated long drawers, each delicately framed with light wood stringing and mounted with cast-brass batwing pulls and matching central escutcheons. The drawer faces showcase a denser, highly concentrated cluster of burr knots running through the center panels, bordered by thick, vibrant crossbanding that displays fine, web-like age crazing throughout the original varnish.
