An exceptionally elegant and stately matching pair of vintage Hollywood Regency "Florentine Revival" candlestick buffet lamps, masterfully produced by Berman Industries. Standing tall with a commanding vertical presence, these designer-tier lamps are a perfect marriage of classical Neoclassical structure and dramatic European old-world opulence.
The heavy, weighted bases are cast with exquisite, deep-relief classical acanthus leaves and scrolling vines, finished in a rich, multi-dimensional antiqued gold-leaf and bronze patina. A fluted architectural pillar column rises from a flared floral collar, terminating in an elegant brass capital.
The lamps are crowned with their spectacular, original square bell-style shades, wrapped in a luxurious crimson red damask fabric with subtle tone-on-tone scrollwork. The bottom rim of each shade is heavily adorned with an intact, shimmering fringe of faceted amber and glass teardrop crystal beads that catch and diffuse light beautifully.
