A striking pair of late 19th-century French five-light candelabra in gilt and dark-patinated bronze, each bearing three “AD” foundry stamps, associated with the Auguste-Maximilien Delafontaine foundry of Paris. Each features scrolling candle arms, a tall fluted column and a tripod base formed by winged griffin monopodia with paw feet.
French, circa 1870–1890. Approximately 24.5 inches high by 9 inches wide and deep each.
Antique condition with age-related patina, oxidation, finish wear and minor irregularities to the candle fittings. Please review all photographs for condition. Sold as is.
