The print depicts a tranquil figure resting against a soft backdrop, watching delicate tendrils of grey smoke drift from an intricate Qing dynasty style incense burner. A true connoisseur's print, the work features spectacular gauffrage (blind embossing) texturing across the flowing floral-patterned robes, giving the surface a luxurious dimensional quality. Hand-signed in ink by the artist with his official red Mitsu-Tomoe seal, alongside block carver and printer signatures in the lower left margin.
