Sourced from the historic cutlery capital of the world, this grand set was expertly crafted in Sheffield, England, by the prominent silversmith firm Fenton Brothers (F BROS) circa 1880–1900.

This exceptionally rare and extensive hosting service provides a full setting for twelve guests, plus the coordinating master server. The set includes twelve (12) individual fish knives, twelve (12) individual fish forks, and one (1) large master serving knife—all beautifully presented in its original, fitted solid mahogany wood case.

Each piece features fine silver-plated working ends adorned with exquisite, hand-engraved Victorian scrollwork and botanical flourishes. The collars (ferrules) are intricately molded with relief patterns, flowing into classic tapered handles crafted from smooth, faux-ivory celluloid (ivorine). As an authentic historical detail, eleven of the handles have oxidized over time to a rich, warm golden-amber hue, while one fork features a lighter, original cream-colored handle. Intact, 25-piece master sets complete with their historical storage chest and a documented Sheffield maker stamp are crown-jewel acquisitions for elegant holiday hosting or grandmillennial tablescapes.
