The smooth, uninterrupted form of this particular marble piece, for example, recalls the vessels Morandi spent his life recreating in paint on canvas. The stones's muted colors -- shades of gray and alabaster -- recall the marble used in some of Italy's most iconic architecture. This beautiful sculpture is a true conversation piece. This marble sculpture is 3.1 inches in diameter and 13.4 inches in height and occupied a niche in the entryway of my home. The "Salvatori" logo can be found at the bottom of the sculpture. The sculpture currently retails for approximately $530 and is in excellent condition. See less
