Two men is a modern artwork realized by Gabriele Galantara (1865-1937) in 1909. Watercolor, ink, tempera and pencil on paper. Good conditions and aged with foxing. Gabriele Galantara (1865-1937) was a journalist and one of the leading Italian caricaturists and cartoonists. ''The Donkey'' weekly magazine published in 1892 of which Galantara signed the illustrations, met the favor of the public. The aim of the satire were episodes of political malfeasance. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
