Limburg has long been regarded as one of germany’s finest glassmakers, renowned for combining exceptional craftsmanship with timeless, architectural lighting design. Each fixture features a beautifully sculptured thin textured glass shade whose refined surface creates a remarkably warm and atmospheric play of light. Rather than relying on heavy glass, limburg achieved a sophisticated balance of lightness and craftsmanship. The delicate glass structure beautifully diffuses illumination while preserving depth and brilliance. Depending on the bulbs selected, the character of the light changes noticeably: clear bulbs emphasize the sparkling texture and sculptural details of the glass, while frosted bulbs create a softer, more evenly diffused ambient glow. This versatility allows the fixtures to complement both contemporary and classic interiors. A practical and well-engineered feature is the twist-lock glass mounting system. The shade is securely attached by simply rotating it into place, allowing easy access for cleaning or changing bulbs while maintaining a seamless appearance. Each fixture is fitted with two standard e26/e27 sockets, providing excellent light output and exceptionally even illumination. Modern led and energy-saving bulbs can naturally be used without restriction. The fixtures are designed for direct hardwired installation and feature a modern terminal block with connections for live, neutral and protective earth (ground), making installation fully compatible with today’s electrical standards. Both ceiling lights remain in very good vintage condition. The textured glass is beautifully preserved, while one chrome center reflector shows only a single, very small superficial scratch that is barely noticeable during normal use. Their restrained elegance, outstanding glass quality and beautiful illumination make this an exceptional pair by one of germany’s most respected lighting manufacturers. official proof of authenticity,
