An elegant late Victorian four-piece silverplate coffee service by the Barbour Silver Company, beautifully crafted in the company’s high-quality Quadruple Plate. The set includes a coffee pot, covered sugar bowl, creamer, and matching open waste (slop) bowl.
Each piece features richly engraved floral and foliate decoration with crisp detailing, gracefully curved handles accented with beaded ornamentation, matching beaded rims, and decorative fleur-de-lis style finials. The forms are balanced and refined, making the service equally suitable for display or entertaining.
The underside of each piece is stamped “Barbour Silver Co. Quadruple Plate” and numbered 2411.
This is an attractive and increasingly uncommon complete four-piece service dating to approximately 1890–1910. It displays beautifully in Victorian, Traditional, English Country, and Grandmillennial interiors.
